HVAC Supervisor

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Four years journey level experience in HVAC with min 4 years experience in hvac installs
  • Two years leadership experience
  • B Ticket for gas, Mopia license, Valid drivers license
  • The employee must be able to variously sit, stand, walk, climb stairs and ladders, crawl, stoop, bend, squat, lift, pull, and use both hands-on repetitive tasks (including overhead tasks)
  • The employee must have normal vision and hearing (correctable), and for some areas of employment, color vision and sense of smell
Responsibilities
  • The employee is responsible for installing HVAC units. Leading a team of skilled and emerging trades professionals in performing mechanical, technical, installations of HVAC equipment
  • This role provides training, guidance and supervision to mechanics, assistants, and apprentices (staff) assigned to the work group, and closely interfaces with the office staff.
  • Lead a team of installers, preform high quality control.
  • Supervise and train employees
  • Delegate assignments to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects as well as preventative and reactive maintenance.
  • Provide performance feedback regularly and conduct formal evaluations for direct reports
  • Provide information for record keeping, and management of supply and equipment resources
  • Foster a safe work environment
  • In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned
Benefits
  • Minimum starting salary of $85,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications Up to $20,000 bonuses / year
  • *$2500 sign on bonus

Qualifications
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive HVAC experience, including but not limited to:
  • Installing forced air furnaces
  • Mini-split systems
  • 5+ years minimum residentia heating and AC experience as a lead installer (in order to get top pay)
  • Should have own basic installer hand and power tools
  • Strong communication skills
  • Self directed with the ability to lead others
  • Attention to detail
  • Team player: able to take direction and willing to learn
  • Drug-free
  • Ability to work in a high pressure environment
Responsibilities
  • Troubleshooting/repair of the same Benefits
  • Sign on bonus of $5000 paid out in 2 instalments over the course of a year
  • Generous Pay depending on experience, make up to $100,000 with OT!
